Meet Dr. Hannah Horwath: The Specialist Who Connects the Dots for Complex Kids

Board-certified, residency-trained, and endlessly curious — Dr. Hannah is one of the clinicians who make our whole-child approach possible. Here's why I'm so glad she's on this team.

If you've ever felt like your child's care was scattered across a dozen different providers who never quite talked to each other, Dr. Hannah is the kind of clinician who changes that. She's board-certified in pediatric physical therapy, and she trained through the Brooks Pediatric Residency — one of the most rigorous pediatric PT programs in the country. That training took her everywhere a child might need her: the NICU, the school setting, and every stop in between. Which means by the time a family sits down with her, she's already seen how a single child's story can span settings, specialists, and stages of development — and she knows how to hold all of it together.

“Hannah doesn’t just treat what’s in front of her. She’s always asking what it’s connected to.”
— Dr. Jenny Quartano

WHERE HER PASSION TOOK ROOT

The smallest clients, the earliest signs

Somewhere along the way, Dr. Hannah found her true passion: early intervention, and specifically, the tiniest clients — babies in what she calls the 4th trimester. She's trained in the specific tests and tools that help catch early risk signs long before they become bigger challenges, because she believes what we see in those first few months can tell us so much about what's ahead. For the families she works with, that early recognition often makes all the difference.

MOTHERHOOD CHANGED HER LENS

Body, fascia, and feeding — coming full circle

Dr. Hannah's own journey into motherhood pulled her even deeper into a piece of the puzzle that a lot of clinicians miss: the connection between body tension, fascia, breastfeeding, and mobility. She saw firsthand how tightly those threads are woven together — and how much a mother and baby's success can hinge on someone who understands all of them at once. True to form, she's never done learning. She's currently completing her breastfeeding certification, bringing her skills as a physical therapist full circle so she can support that connection from every angle.

BEYOND THE CLINIC

  • She's the daughter of a physical therapist — this work is in her blood.

  • She's been collaborating with Dr. Jenny since her very first year of PT school.

  • Motherhood didn't just change her life — it shaped how she practices.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Dr. Hannah grow from a PT student into the clinician she is today, and I couldn’t be prouder. She’s the kind of specialist who sees the whole picture — the NICU stay, the feeding struggle, the missed milestone, the mother’s own healing — and knows exactly how they connect. That’s the kind of care every complex kid, and every family, deserves.
— Dr. Jenny
