Homeschool Co-Op

We are excited to offer a specialized Homeschool Drop-Off Program designed specifically for children who thrive in small group settings, an inclusive environment for all individuals, including those who are neurodivergent or who require additional support in reading and math. Rooted in evidence-based practices and aligned with a multi-sensory, movement-rich approach, this program is thoughtfully created to promote meaningful learning in a supportive, engaging environment.

Who this is for:

  • Homeschooling families seeking targeted academic support

  • Children who benefit from individualized attention in small group settings

  • Learners of all abilities including those with dyslexia, ADHD, or learning differences

  • Students in need of a more structured or hands-on approach to literacy and numeracy

The Program

Twice Weekly Sessions, 2.5 hrs a session:

  • Focused instruction in reading and math, utilizing evidence-based, multi-sensory methods such as derived from the science of reading and hands-on numeracy strategies

  • Movement breaks and kinesthetic learning integrated throughout each session to support engagement and retention

  • Age-appropriate groupings to foster social connection and peer support

  • Led by experienced educators trained in evidence-based reading intervention and developmentally appropriate methods

  • Annual Fee (paid once) $150

Our Staff

Ashley Curtis is an accomplished educator with over 15 years of experience dedicated to fostering a love of learning and literacy. She holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Literacy from the University of North Florida and is certified in ESOL, ESE, and Literacy.

Throughout her career, Ashley has served in diverse roles including classroom teacher, reading interventionist, dean of students, ESE specialist, and mentor teacher. Specializing in diagnosing early literacy reading deficiencies, Ashley provides targeted interventions in both small-group and individualized settings. She brings deep expertise in explicit, systematic phonics instruction and is trained in evidence-based programs such as Barton, Orton-Gillingham, and UFLI. Ashley’s guiding philosophy is simple yet powerful: help every student reach their fullest potential.

  • August 12th-May 28th, following the Duval County School calendar

  • Ms. Ashley has over 10 years of teaching experience and has both an ESE certification and a master's in reading intervention.  She comes to us from a Waldorf school where the value of  a holistic approach to learning.  Ms. Amy has nearly 30 years of teaching children from VPK through grade 3.  She has also worked in early intervention and has a deep understanding of the importance of early learning. Ms. Amy is ESE certified and brings a wealth of teaching tools to reach all children.

  • The program is $4275 for the year.  There is a $50 assessment fee and an annual supply fee of $150 per child.  These fees can be set on a payment plan or drawn directly from your Step Up account.

  • While teaching occurs at our program, we know repetition and carry over from parents are critical to your child's success.  Parents must establish carryover of skills and implementation at home with tools provided and communicated with our teachers.  Parents are also responsible for any annual evaluations or district required regulations.
