WELL KIDS · PSYCHOLOGY & TESTING
When You Need Clarity, Not Just a Report
Is it a phase, ADHD, a learning difference, or something else entirely? Most parents who reach out to us have been asking that question for a while. Our Jacksonville Beach psychoeducational evaluations give you a clear, usable answer instead of more wait-and-see, and our social-emotional support helps your child build the skills to move forward once you have it. Every evaluation includes a feedback session where Kristen walks you through results in plain language, plus a written report for school or your doctor.
Testing Built Around Your Child, Not a Generic Battery
Comprehensive, private-pay testing for the questions keeping you up at night.
ADHD Evaluation: a full picture of attention, focus, and executive functioning.
Learning Differences Evaluation: dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other academic processing concerns.
Giftedness Evaluation: for enrichment planning, school placement, or program qualification.
Autism Evaluation (ADOS-2): comprehensive assessment for autism spectrum concerns using the gold-standard diagnostic tool.
Comprehensive Evaluation: combined testing when more than one concern is in play. Most common for kids with overlapping attention, learning, and behavior questions.
Every evaluation includes: an intake session, testing, and a feedback session where Kristen walks you through the results and what they mean in plain language, plus a written report you can bring to school, a doctor, or wherever it's needed.
Structured Support, Not Scripted Drills
One-on-one or small-group instruction built on two evidence-informed frameworks, not generic talk-therapy. Kristen has hands-on training and implementation experience with both.
Executive Functioning (Cognitive Connections framework): builds planning, organization, self-monitoring, and flexible thinking by making a child's thought process "visible" through structured supports and guided reflection.
Social Thinking®: helps kids understand the why behind social behavior and build real metacognitive and social-cognitive skills, rather than rote scripts. Includes Zones of Regulation for younger or more concrete learners.
Individual sessions or small groups are both available, depending on the skill focus and your child's needs.

Music TherapyFor kids who open up through rhythm and play more than they do sitting still in a clinic room.
Interactive Play GroupsFor building real friendships, not just supervised parallel play.
TutoringFor the space between what therapy resolves and what the classroom still expects.
Functional Medicine for KidsFor when you're less interested in managing a symptom and more interested in understanding why it's there.
